The company is headquartered in downtown Los Angeles, with locations around the country, including offices in Austin, Lubbock, Canton, Youngstown, Tucson, the Atlanta area, and throughout the world.

Your role can be a combination of remote and in-office work. We have a busy in-house attorney that needs a smart and efficient individual to assist with a variety of corporate matters that are integral to the company’s operations. The company provides business process and IT outsourcing services to many fortune 100 companies.

Core functions of the job will involve contract review and management, litigation and risk mitigation, especially in relation to employment matters, legal research, providing legal counsel to internal business groups, and administrative functions. This is an immediate opening for full-time assistance, with a flexible title of Paralegal to Staff Attorney depending on relevant experience and room for growth for the right individual.

What your days will look like:

  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
  • Review commercial contracts, NDAs, leases, and other miscellaneous contracts.
  • Litigation: review files; draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; maintain calendar; and prepare for and participate in mediations.
  • Contract Management.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Help to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment, and telecommunications.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Draft correspondence.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned, including administrative tasks.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bar membership not required
  • Must have completed at least two years of law school
  • Must have training as an attorney
